Probably perturbed by being landed in jail, a beleaguered Telugu Desam deputy floor leader from Telangana A Revanth Reddy is unwilling to meet with his fellow legislators.
According to informed sources, Reddy refused to meet TD legislators Maganti Gopinath and Prakash Goud on Wednesday. He was shifted to Cherlapally Jail from Chanchalguda Jail in connection with the infamous “note for vote” case in which he was caught red-handed while offering Rs 50 lakh to MLA Stephsenson for MLC elections.
Revanth Reddy said to have appealed to the jail officials at Cherlapally to deny permission to all, irrespective of his party or others. “I want to meet with only my family members and not with any other,” he reportedly said.
Interestingly, Revanth did not hesitate to meet with close friends from Seemandhra area on Tuesday including Dhulipalla Narendra and Payyavula Keshav. However, the disgruntled TD leader is reluctant to meet with any others including that of the TD and that resulted refusing to meet the two leaders on Wednesday. Revanth preferred to meet only his family members and is unwilling to meet with others, the jail officials reportedly said. (NSS)
