The Special Court for ACB Cases has extended the judicial remand of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy till June 15 in connection with ‘Cash for Vote’ case.
Meanwhile, at the end of four-day police custody on Tuesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials took Revanth Reddy and two other accused Sebastian and Uday Sinha, to Osmania General Hospital for a medical check-up and then produced them before the ACB Court at Nampally. The judge enquired with Revanth Reddy on the facilities provided to him during the police custody. Later, the court directed the ACB to send all the three accused in judicial remand till June 15. Amid tight security, they were shifted to Cherlapally Central Prison.
Earlier in the day, the ACB sleuths conducted raids at the residences of all three accused, including Revanth Reddy. They reportedly seized some vital documents during the raids which were led by DSP Sunitha Reddy. The ACB officials have seized Sebastian’s passport, bank pass book and foreign liquor from his residence. (INN)
