TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy faced nearly 60 questions in connection with ‘Cash for Vote’ case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on the second day of his police custody on Sunday.
The Kodangal MLA, who was arrested by the ACB on May 31, while trying to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, was questioned by the senior ACB officials at their Banjara Hills office. According to sources, most of the questions pertained to sources of Rs. 50 lakh cash which was seized from his possession at the time of arrest.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy’s lawyers claimed that the TDP MLA was suffering from illness. They said that the ACB officials did not provide even drinking water to Revanth Reddy when he asked for it. (INN)
