Revanth Reddy booked for remarks against KCR

Telangana Telugu Desam Party working president Revanth Reddy was booked for making alleged derogatory remarks against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

According to TRS leader M Goverdhan Reddy, TDP leader Revanth Reddy had allegedly made derogatory remarks against the CM during a hunger protest against the Mallannasagar project.  Goverdhan filed a case against the TDP leader at Jubilee Hills police station. Revanth has been booked under various sections of the IPC.

In a related development, TRS workers staged a protest against the TDP leader Revanth Reddy for his alleged derogatory remarks against the CM. The TRS leaders burnt an effigy of the TDP leader and demanded his arrest. TDP workers also gathered at the site and a melee ensued. Police swung into action and dispersed the agitating party workers of both the sides. (INN)
