Telangana TDP working president on Monday approached High Court seeking to stay the merger of TTDP into TRS. It may be noted that 12 out of 15 MLAs of TD defected to the TRS and in March this year MLA Erabelli Dayakar Rao had appealed the Speaker to merge TTDP with TRS.
Revanth Reddy wanted the Court to stay the merger of the TTDP with TRS since the disqualification plea was still pending with the Speaker. The court issued notices to the concerned parties and posted the matter to be heard after two weeks. (INN)
