Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy said he would go on a 48-hour hunger strike demanding justice to the displaced persons of the proposed Mallannasagar project.
Speaking to the media at Choutuppal, the TDP leader said his party would ensure justice to the villagers who were displaced by the project. “We will see that Irrigation Minister Harish Rao do justice to the victims of Mallannasagar”, he said. He also demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao pay adequate compensation to the farmers by selling his own farmhouse.
Revanth Reddy also said there should be a social boycott of MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy, MLAs Bhaskar Rao, Ravindra Naik, who joined the TRS. (NSS)
