Revanth Episode a TRS-YSRC Conspiracy—Yanamala

Andhra Pradesh minister and TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today alleged that the arrest of Telangana TDP Legislator Revanth Reddy was a well planned conspiracy by TRS and YSRC.

He further stated that the conspiracy was hatched to defame the TDP and the demand to make chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu as accused one in this episode clearly shows that both parties have nexus. Seeking and asking for vote in elections is a general practice. But, setting up cameras at the residence of nominated MLA after coming to know that Revanth Reddy is going there, clearly shows the conspiracy behind it, Yanamala lamented.

How a case was filed without verifying the authenticity of third party tapes. A case has to be filed only after sending the tapes to forensic labs to verify the voice, he said and questioned how a case was registered after using tapes recorded by third party as evidences.

Referring to reported statement of Telangana home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy that Chandrababu Naidu was behind the cash for vote episode, the AP minister asked whether this would not affect the investigation? Is it not an open black mail, he asked.

The TRS CM has lost confidence of the people during the last one year and he conspired to arrest the TDP member Revanth Reddy to divert attention of people on the problems being faced by them in Telangana, Yanamala alleged.

Taking a dig at YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy, he said being an accused in 12 criminal cases of CBI, how can he demand making chief minister Chandrababu Naidu as accused one for no fault of his. Jagan, who never met the Governor on people’s problems, met him just to demand inclusion of the name of Chandrababu Naidu in the case, he said. There was not a single such instance in the over three decade old TDP party and its leaders, whereas the Congress indulged in number of such practices, he said.

Stating that the Congress party too has a hand in this conspiracy hatched by TRS and YSRC, Yanamala said people will teach a lesson to these parties in the two Telugu states.(NSS)
