TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday dared YSRCP MLA Shoba Nagireddy to come for a debate either in Hyderabad or Allagadda or Kodangal on who were involved in land grabbing and murder politics.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Revanth Reddy dubbed “Sakshi” newspaper as a ‘poisonous daughter’. He said that the newspaper, which was born out of ill-gotten money, was publishing utterly false news stories stating that the TDP office was a center of all conspiracies. It was ridiculous and shame on the part of the “Sakshi” to write about Constitutional values and laws.
He said that the YSRCP entered into a secret pact with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh as it knew that Pranab Mukherjee would be winner in the Presidential election and the YSRCP could not stop the victory of the Congress party’s nominee.
The TDP leader also said that residents of Hi-Tech city would tell about the land grabbing history of the Bhuma family. Questioning who had grabbed prime land in S. Nos 80 and 1076 at Hafeezpet, Revanth Reddy said that Shoba Nagireddy has no moral right to speak about him. He alleged that Bhuma family has changed three parties within four years and praised respective party heads.
Revanth Reddy said that Bhuma family praised Chandrababu Naidu when it was in TDP and later the same family praised Chiranjeevi describing then megastar as raising sun. Now the same family was praising YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was in jail in connection with the ill-gotten money.
Revanth Reddy made it clear that as Pranab Mukherjee was the nominee of the ‘corrupt’ Congress and PA Sangma of the communal BJP, the TDP has abstained from voting in the Presidential election. He said that every one has a right to lodge protest in a democratic country and the TDP lodged its protest against both the candidates contested for the Presidential election.
The TDP leader asked the YSRCP, which delivers cinema dialogues like ‘Maata Thappani’ ‘Madama Thippani Vamsham’, as to why it cast its vote to Pranab Mukherjee. He said that though the NDA presidential candidate PA Sangma sought support of the YSRCP, but it failed to support him. He also asked why YSRCP legislators cast their votes to the Congress, which allegedly harassed Jagan. “Where Kadapa Pourusham”, has gone, he asked.
Recalling that the YSRCP had boycotted the election when the TDP fielded a candidate against Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar, he asked as to why the YSRCP, which participated in Presidential election, boycotted the Speaker’s election. He also asked YSRCP leaders whether they cast their votes to Pranab as part of secret pact with the Prime Minister.
