TDP official spokesperson Revanth Reddy today said the announcement of separate Telangana state by Congress party has come as a bolt from blue to TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Chandrasekhar Rao had a dream that his party can win more seats in the name of Telangana state in the 2014 elections, but the announcement of Congress party has shattered his dream, he said and alleged that the former after losing hope to grab more seats, is now indulging in provocative speeches.
Accusing KCR of hijacking the sakala jana bheri meeting yesterday, the TDP leader alleged that he is trying to provoke seemandhra people by his speeches, and KCR and YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy have been working on the direction of AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
KCR cannot give leadership to Telangana, Jaganmohan Reddy to seemandhra and AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to the country, he asserted.
Reddy questioned why Telangana bill was not moved even after 60 days of the announcement.
There was a need to address the problems of seemandhra people, he said and added that KCR, instead of raising his voice on the issue of Telangana in the parliament, was taking rest in his form house here.
Meanwhile, another leader of TDP Devneni Umamaheshwar Rao said at Vijayawada that KCR was a betrayal of Telangana movement as he don’t like separate Telangana state to be materialized.(NSS)
