An 84-year-old man died on the spot after he suffered severe burn injuries due to gas leakage at his residence in Srinagar Colony under Punjagutta police limits.
According to police, the deceased, SM Murthy, suffered burns in the early hours of Thursday when he tried to lit the stove without realising the gas leakage. He died on the spot. He was a retired employee of Intelligence Bureau. (INN)
