Patna, February 16:A retired employee of Akashvani, Patna, Sitaram Yadav, was hammered to death by unidentified persons at his flat in Nayatola area here, Senior Superintendent of Police Alok Kumar said today.
About three assailants barged into his flat and beat 70-year-old Yadav to death late last night, Kumar said.
His wife was sleeping in a another room when they killed him, the SSP said.
The samples collected from the spot were being sent for forensic test, he said, adding further investigation was on.
