Property Developer
Based in Riyadh, KSA
Bi-lingual Arabic & English
Our client is a major retail property developer and operator throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Retail Leasing professional to join its team based in Riyadh, KSA.
The Retail Leasing Manager will be responsible for the following:
o Assist in developing the specialty leasing strategy for all overseen malls covering sizing, tenant mix, and lease terms to be approved on the Development and / or Asset Management Committee
o Develop the leasing plan for overseen malls
o Allocate staff to Regional and Community Malls and support Super-Regional Malls if required
o Provide critical input in determining tenants and prices for non-GLA leasing (kiosks, carts, pop ups)
o Develop and manage relationships with tenants in own region
o Coordinate with specialty leasing functions in order regions for synergies across the regions or within the same one
o Coordinate with key accounts (Leasing) for large cross-regional tenants of specialty leasing space (large banks, ATMs, telecom operators) and with fit-outs and mall managers on tenant move-in and support
o Conduct entire leasing and renewal cycle from tenant sourcing to contract signing and minimize leakage upon terminations
o Ensure the execution of specialty leasing activities and ensure they meet the guidelines agreed with Asset Management
o Perform monitoring of specialty leasing activities vs targets and business plans and issue regular updates / reports
o Coordinate with Legal & Finance for contracts and payments / revenue booking and that all contracts are put into system
o Update and maintain the specialty leasing client database for overseen malls
o Maintain the database of requests / preferences / requirements for all overseen specialty leasing tenants and input into CRM system (e.g. contract T&Cs, physical and fit-out space, services).
Requirements:
In order to be considered for this role, the Facility Manager (Retail) will have the following key skills and attributes:
o Degree qualified in Business Administration / Management, or equivalent is required
o Possess a minimum of 5+ years in retail leasing
o Have a solid track record and experience in tenant / customer relationship management
o Significant exposure to GCC and KSA retail market
o Understanding of retail market trends
o Have access to a large and diverse network of clients (especially within KSA and the overseen region)
o Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
o Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
o Excellent conflict resolution / management skills
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o An excellent command of Arabic and English
