Result of Sidhu joining AAP or Cong will be ‘zero’: Harsimrat Kaur

New Delhi [India]: Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Thursday said that it does not matter whether ex-BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu joins the Congress or the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as the outcome in both cases will be zero.

Badal said that both AAP and Congress are zero and are of no relevance.

“AAP has zero performance in Delhi and Congress is zero across India, so Sidhu will also be zero whoever he joins,” said Badal.

Navjot Singh Sidhu along with other Awaz-e -Punjab leaders Pargat Singh and Bains brothers met senior Aadmi Party’s Punjab in-charge Durgesh Pathak yesterday even as talks of an alliance between the former’s party and the Congress are reportedly in the final stage ahead of the Punjab assembly elections.

Post quitting the BJP, Sidhu is weighing his options before entering into any alliance with another political party.

Assembly polls in Punjab are likely to be held in January-February next year.

The Congress and the AAP are trying to challenge the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal- BJP alliance, which has been in power in Punjab since 2007. (ANI)
