Restoration of the composite culture of Telangana essential

(Siasat News) Cultural organizations supporting the formation of Telangana organized Urdu-Telugu Mushaira in Hyderabad under the banner of “Hyderabad mere dil ki dhadkan”. More than 100 poets of Telugu and Urdu participated in the function. They opined that it is essential to restore the composite culture of Telangana.

Mr. Saibaba presided over the function. Mr. B. Narsing Rao, Indasri, Mr. Jairaj, Ms. Jameela Nishath, Mr. Venugopal, Mr. Borgula Narsing Rao, Mr. B. Mallaiah, Dr. Qutub Surshar, Ms. Tasneem Jauhar, Mr. A. Devandar, Mr. S. Srinivas Reddy, Mr. Jagan Reddy, Prof. Vemala, Ms. Ratna recited their poems. Mr. Narsing Rao made the development of Hyderabad as the pivotal point of his speech and said that India had gained freedom from the slavery of the British, whereas erstwhile state of Hyderabad was an independent and a very developed princely state. He further told that earlier non-Mulki movement gained popularity but people belonging to other states settle down this region forcibly. They had to go back.

Dr. Farooq Shakeel, Dr. Saleem Abedi, Mr. Yousuf Ravish, Mr. Atyab Ejaz, Mr. Lateef Arzoo, Mr. Jagjivan Lal Astana, Mr. Syed Ali Adil, Mr. Syed Ismail Zaibullah, Ms. Elizebath Kurian Mona recited their poems.
