Restaurants remain closed in South India today to protest against GST imposition

Hyderabad: In various states of South India, restaurant owners have decided to keep their restaurants closed today against the imposition of GST by Central Govt.

These States include Telangana, Tamil Nadu, AP and Karnataka. By keeping the restaurants closed, they want to register their protest against the implementation of GST which is 18%. The hotel workers will put black badges while serving the customers from 29th to 31st May. Hotels, lodges, bakeries, resorts, canteens, tiffin centers and Dhaabas would be affected.

The hotel owners have decided to intensify their stir.
