He hoped that the schools will reduce the rates of their profits and make education within the access of the students. He deplored on the trends of commercialization of education and said that the students would get wrong impressions and they will be forced to think that education is also a “Salable Commodity”. He stressed the need to adopt an effective code of conduct and not to burden the students by levying heavy fees. He told the schools to deliberate on this issue in detail for the remaining three days of the conference.

Majority of the students is not in a position to bear heavy expenses on education. He invited the attention of the educational experts to consider whether the teaches recruited possess adequate qualifications, skills and efficiencies or not. It should not be limited to counting the numbers alone. In his scholarly address, the Governor impressed upon the experts and dignitaries associated with the system of education to make efforts to reach the fixed targets of education.

They should not be contented by achieving the minimum targets. He suggested that a new role must be assigned to the teachers who impart education on the basis of moral values. He told the teachers to setup the highest standard for themselves.

If the teachers don’t make themselves compatible with the latest changes, the country won’t progress. The services the teachers are offering today will be instrumental in shaping the future of the country.
