In response to Rishi Kapoor’s ‘baap ka maal’ tweet, Congress supporters name public toilets after him

Allahabad: In response to Bollywood stalwart Rishi Kapoor’s ‘baap ka maal’ tweet against the Nehru-Gandhi family, Congress supporters in Allahabad to express their anguish, named public toilet after the revered actor.

Rishi Kapoor had strongly lashed out at Gandhi family members and questioned on social media that why the Congress party, in over 6 decades of its rule, named public properties after leaders of the Gandhi family. In one of the tweets, he said,

“Change Gandhi family assets named by Congress. Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road.”

“Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha?,” Rishi Kapoor said in a tweet.

Aggrieved by Rishi Kapoor’s language made against the Nehru-Gandhi family. Party workers in Allahabad named the public toilet in Shivaji Park after him. They hung a placard over a Sulabh toilet with Rishi Kapoor name, according to a report in Pradesh18.

Staunch supporter of BJP, Anupam Kher backed his Bollywood colleague Rishi Kapoor. “It takes courage to say such things,” he said while expressing absolute support to Kapoor’s opinion.
