A resolution was passed by the religious leaders and Muslim intellectuals of Hyderabad applauding the resolution adopted by All India Muslim Personal Law Board for banning Yoga, Surya Namaskar and Sarawati Pooja in Schools since all these acts lead to heresy which Muslims have to avoid. This resolution is a welcome guesture and the need of the hour. Muslim men and women were accepting these acts under the influence of media publicity. Muslim Personal Law Board has clearly indicated the stand the Muslims have to take. It is hoped that Muslims would refrain from such acts.
The signatories of this resolutions are Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin, Prof. Suleman Siddiqui, Maulana Syed Ahmed Wameez Nadvi, Dr. Syed Islamuddin Mujahid, Mohammed Salman and Manzoor Ahmed of Salama Academy.
