Hyderabad, June 2: Declaring the fresh resignation threat by public representatives of Congress for separate Telangana as just a show Telangana Rashtra Samithi said that Telangana leaders of Congress have become a laughing stock by making such announcements.
It should be noted that the Telangana MPs of Congress have announced on Wednesday that they would resign from parliament in July if the Telangana bill is not introduced in monsoon session in June.
TRS MLA Harish Rao and politburo member Mohammad Mahmood Ali have declared the threat by Congress leader Keshav Rao and others as an effort to mislead Telangana people.
He said that Congress leaders of Telangana are securing their chairs while exploiting the sentiments of Telangana people.
TRS leaders reiterated that since December 9, 2009, the Congress MPs have threatened several times to submit resignations but they didn’t submit resignation either to the high command or to Loksabha speakers even once.
