Resign and seek fresh mandate, TD tells KCR

Hyderabad,October 23: Reacting to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s allegation against TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu at the Siddipet public meeting yesterday, Telugu Desam leaders A Revanth Reddy and Arvind Kumar Goud today dared Rao to resign and seek a fresh mandate from the people of Mahaboobnagar.

Speaking to reporters here today, they said that they would not tolerate if Rao continued his tirade against Naidu.

Rao was making off-the-cuff remarks on `Hyderabad free zone’ matter only to derive political mileage, they said and clarified that the TDP supported the government’s decision to file a review petition in the Supreme Court on the free zone matter.

Meanwhile, TDP senior leaders K Yerran Naidu, Y Ramakrishnudu, K Srinivas and others staged a dharna near the Ambedkar statue opposing GO 496 on creamy layer of BCs for implementation of reservation.
