A foundation stone was laid for construction of water tank at Salala Barkas on February 24, 2009, following which happiness prevailed among resident of Salala Barkas. But the happiness turned into disappointment as construction of tank is not complete even after 6 years of laying of foundation. It must be noted that the tank is being constructed with the cost of 22.37 cr. Residents demand making the tank operational at the earliest.
