Gurgaon police had to resort to mild lathi-charge to disperse residents and local social activists who blocked traffic at a toll plaza located at the Delhi-Gurgaon border this morning.
According to police, residents of Lagoon apartment gathered at NH 8 near the toll plaza and blocked the passage.
Afterwards, they were joined by different NGOs and social activists and blocked the traffic for about an hour at around 10 AM.
The residents were opposing the blockade of U-turn near their apartment on NH 8 near toll plaza.
Police reached the spot led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Maheshwar Dayal and requested the agitators to unblock
the jam but when they resisted, mild lathi-charge was used to disperse them.
