Director Minority Welfare and Special Officer Waqf Board Mr. Muhammad Jalaluddin Akber made a surprise visit to English Medium Residential School and Makkah Masjid and took stock of the arrangements. English Medium Residential School located at Vanasthalipuram is functioning for students from 5th to 10th standard. Over 200 students study in the school. Mr. Jalaluddin Akber inspected the food and basic facilities provided to the students.
On the occasion Mr. Akber told that there was proposal to establish such residential schools for minority students in each district of Telangana and he would submit a report to the government in this connection. Poor families who don’t afford to send their children to private schools can admit their children into English medium residential schools.
