Mumbai, August 25: A four-storey residential building collapsed in south Mumbai on Tuesday. Several people are feared trapped under the debris, fire brigade officials said.
Fire brigade vehicles and ambulances have been rushed to the building, ‘Khatav Mansion’, in Lamington area, they said.
“At around 1900 hours, I heard a huge sound, like an explosion, and saw the building collapsing.
Within minutes, the air in the area was filled with dust particles,” said advocate Jayesh Vithalani, an eyewitness.
