An incident of killing occurred in Pahadi Sharif area yesterday in which some unkown persons killed Sultan Hamid (34) resident of Barkas. After killing him, he was tied in a bag and was thrown in the forest area of Jalpally near Pahadi Sharif. Panic prevailed in the surrounding area when the dead body was recovered.
It is said that the deceased had got the pamphlets of his assassinations distributed in Barkas area in which he had alleged that Baam family was responsible for his assassination. By doing so, he put his life in danger from Baam family. Police has also tightened the movements of Baam family members suspecting them for their involving in this murder case.
Mr. Giri Kumar, Inspector of Police, Pahadi Sharif told that according to the statements made by the family members of Sultan Hamid, Faiz Baam and Yousuf Bawazir are being suspected in this case.
It is reported that Sultan Hamid had disappeared and complaint was lodged in Chandrayangutta about his missing. He was a real estate dealer. He was living in Salala in Barkas area. The miscreants have made an unsuccessful attempt to erase evidence. According to police sources there were the ringing of phone calls of his wife and mother on 23rd March and his dead body was found yesterday. His wife Ms. Huda Begum alleged and his family members have assassinated her husband.
Huda Begum’s marriage was arranged by the family members of Faisal Baam. She now blames this family that they have looted her husband and also killed him.
According to the statements recorded by the relatives of Hamid Sultan, he was kidnapped two years back. In kidnapping him also it is alleged that Faisal Baam was involved. Pahadi Sharif police registered a case under section 302 and 201/34 of Indian Panel Code and started investigation.
