A delegation of Congress minority leaders led by President Telangana Pradesh Congress Minority Department Mohammed Khaja Fareeduddin called on Mr. Amer Ali Khan at Siasat office and announced their support to 12% Muslim reservation movement and appealed all Muslims to join the movement rising above political differences. The delegation included Vice Chairman Telangana Pradesh Congress Minority Department N Sikandar, Mohammed Meraj Khan, Mohammed Shamsuddin, district presidents Shaikh Abdur Rasheed (Khammam), Mohammed Mujeebuddin Quadri (Rangareddy), Sameer Ahmed (Nizamabad), Sajid Khan (Adilabad), Mohammed Nizamuddin, (Nalgonda), Mohammed Laeeq Quadri (Kareem Nagar), Mohammed Jamal Shareef advocate (Warangal), Mohammed Irfan Ali (Nizamabad city), Ahmed Obaid Siddiqui (Warangal city) , Mohammed Aijaz Khan, Syed Farooq Pasha Quadri and Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar (Ramagundam).

Mr. Amer Ali Khan said this is the movement of all Muslims not the movement of Siasat alone. He recalled that TRS in its election manifesto had promised to provide 12 % reservations; to implement that it should have formed BC Commission; instead of that it constituted Sudhir Committee. He claimed that keeping in view the interest of the community Siasat Daily launched the movement which received overwhelming response. All the Muslims including TRS leaders are joining the movement, sinking their political and sectarian differences.
