Job Description:
I am currently seeking a Marine Project Engineer for a major civil engineering marine project in Morocco
My client is a successful civil engineering main contractor:
– Experience within Marine projects such as harbours, jetties, quay walls, marinas is essential.
– Exposure to major civil engineering projects.
– Experience with a main contractor is required
– Degree qualified.
: Ensure that technical risks are identified and mitigated,
: Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the contract
: Provide Technical Leadership
: Contribute to project planning and scheduling
: Support the project team
: Provide technical management coordination of any subcontractors
: Highlight trends/ problems / delays to the Project Manager and Client.
: Checking Drawings and Quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
* 3+ years of technical project management/engineering experience
* Knowledge of Marine construction works involving sheet piled walls, quay walls, rock revetments
* Good written report skills
* Natural ability to speak effectively at all organisational levels.
* Knowledge in Auto Cad, Primavera P6 and BIM will be an advantage
* Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
