Designation :- STEEL DETAILER ENGINEER- STEEL STRUCTURE
Reporting to:- PROJECT HEAD/GENERAL MANAGER
Job Description:
• Understand the technical/project specifications & lead the Team..
• Should be capable of working with Autocad, Tekla Software & Check the Model and Drawing
• Having good experience in structural Steel Modelling/Drawing Checking. Should be well conversant with X-steel/Tekla. Well conversant with AISC Standards for American Projects. Well versed with steeldetailing.Identify/Finalize the RFI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the technical/project specifications & lead the Team..

• Having good experience in structural Steel Modelling/Drawing Checking. Should be well conversant with X-steel/Tekla. Well conversant with AISC Standards for American Projects. Well versed with steeldetailing.Identify/Finalize the RFI’s.
• Steel detailing all parts of metal building systems, including structural steel, wall and roof panels, and trims including:
• Creating erection drawings utilizing 3D Modeling software
• Creating fabrication drawings and reports utilizing 3D Modeling software • Creating Bill of Materials utilizing 3D Modeling software
• As a Steel Detailer (Drafter) / BIM Modeler you will be responsible for detailing all parts of metal building systems, including structural steel, wall and roof panel, and flashing/trim to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution. This will include:
 Creating construction drawings using our highly specialized 3D BIM software
 Generating and verifying fabrication drawings and reports
 Generating and verifying bill of materials for field construction
 Designing and troubleshooting standardized steel framing conditions along with custom, project-specific requirements
 Ensuring a quality product by thorough contract and design coordination
 Maintaining tight schedules and deadlines that often included late-addition requirements or changes in priority
 Well verse AutoCAD 2014 and older versions.
 .Must know X-steel and other detailing software’s.
 .Must have been on structural steel and pre- Engineering steel design using MBS andSTAAD.PRO
Experience.
 Must have experience not less than 5 years.
 Experience and/or schooling using Auto Cad, Advance Steel, or any 3D steel modeling program.
 Having the required math skills to perform simple to complex calculations for various steel structures.
 Good communication skills with the ability to take directions and give feedback when necessary.
Educational Qualification:-
B.TECH / DIPLOMA /BACHELORS / STEEL FABRICATION CERTIFICATION
