Description
Minimum Requirements:
1.Bachelors/ Diploma in Civil Engineering.
2.Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera, MS- Project.
3.7 to 10 years UAE experience as planner and claim engineer in construction field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Plan, organize and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera software.
2.Reviewing the sub-contractor’s detailed work program submissions and prepare the evaluation report.
3.Selects the most appropriate techniques and sequence of activities to complete project.
4.Understand the work breakdown structure (WBS) and work with the management and project/maintenance team in the development of work breakdown structure for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control.
5.Preparing progress report by reviewing the progress of the work versus the planned work.
6.Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates.
7.Checking progress on site to ensure accurate progress reporting.
8.Monitoring all activities in the project schedule for potential delays and regularly update claims and variation logs.
9.Calculate project forecasts using change management, risk management and progress management.
10.Advising the Project Manager of any potential delays to the program and work closely with the project team to minimize or avoid these delays.
11.Assisting the Project Manager for the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports.
12.Participating in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
13.Reviewing the actual implemented bills of quantity and the cost and resource loading prepared by the contractors.
14.Prepare cost estimation and schedule bar chart plan considering all inputs (manpower, equipments and materials) availability, production and construction sequences.
15.Prepares cash flow, charts and histograms on planning projects.
16.Ensuring all document records and logs related to potential schedule delays/claims from the contractor are filled and maintained in accordance with the Project Quality Management System.
17.Generating critical milestones for the construction stage for inclusion in tender documents.
18.Assisting the Project Manager in contract administration and preparing end of transaction claim analysis and using as built or as planned delay analysis.
