Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arise with my Tier 1 Retail Banking client, as they establish a new cutting edge team who will be responsible for building software and platforms that are responsible for protecting their customers and billions of transactions that take place daily. As part of the Senior leadership you will also be building and shaping this new team and function, this includes hiring, building and nurturing vendor relationships as well as driving the architecture and design road-map.
In this unrivalled team, you will gain exposure to forefront technologies including;
– Supervised and unsupervised machine learning
– RESTful/Web API’s
– Resilient and self-healing platforms
– OLTP and NoSQL technologies – incl. Mongo and ElasticSearch.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will need to have experience of building high performance (20 millisecond response) and resilient business critical software, so exposure to 5 nines availability is a must – due to the sensitive and critical nature of the work!
