The Role
• Preparation of quotations/estimates according to requirements
• Check for clients’ specifications and prepare calculation sheets for costing
• Check quantities for electrical, plumbing, aluminum doors and windows, mechanical and other requirements
• Confirm and check the price of the materials to be used
• Price calculation/costing to be finalized
• If clients’ requirement is not as per company’s standard in production and the prices of the materials are unavailable, propose alternatives which would meet closest to the requirements
• Costing of aluminum and glazing works
• Send RFQ-if the required materials are not available
• Check inquiry drawings, documents/attachments for downloading sent by Senior Estimator which is required in scope of works
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Have at least worked in Estimation for at least 3-5 years in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledgeable in either Prefab, Steel Aluminum works
• Working knowledge on estimating procedures and requirements
• Can visualize the required technicalities of the detail of the work
• User of MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of structural engineering design and drafting
