Carrying out on the job training to increase the skills of the engineering electrical work force. Maintaining a high level in performing his duties of all engineering operational procedures. Assigning tasks to the electrical work force. Following up on work being performed by electrical work force .Trouble shooting on any electrical equipment. Supervising the preventive maintenance program. Planning in conjunction with the Shift Eng. The electrical work force work schedule. Checking electrical spares inventory to maintain adequate stocks. Is a member of the Hotels fire fighting team. Is required to use dust sheets and other protective equipment at all times, and to keep the job site clean and tidy. Is prepared to work overtime as and when required. – Is requested to sign in and out on the daily register in the Eng. Dept. Is able to deal efficiently and effectively with all employees. Is required to be well aquatinted with the emergency procedures, i.e. fire, bomb threats, medical and power failure. His Personal appearance and behavior will at all times be geared on representing the Hotel in the best possible way. To be aware of and implement all relevant aspects of Health and Safety legislation and company procedures relating thereto. To attend any internal and external course that management may deem as beneficial. To carry out any reasonable request made by the management in the undertaking of any duties within the Hotel. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
