(Siasat News) Minster of Minorities Welfare, Govt. of A.P. made a representation to Dr. K. Srikara Reddy to issue passports to Haj pilgrims on priority basis as this is pre-requisite for submission of Haj applications. He told the passport officer that Haj applications will be received from 1st March to 16th March. He hoped that passport officer will extend cooperation this year also.
Dr. Srikara Reddy assured that the work relating to issue of passports will be expedited.
Mr. Syed Khaleeluddin, Chairman, Haj Committee and Prof. S.A. Shukoor had also represented this matter to the passport officer earlier.
