Jeddah: The Consulate General of India as a part of the Republic Day celebrations conducted a Punjabi Bhangra event at its premises on 28th January.
The troop for the event came specially from New Delhi and was sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
The program had in attendance high-level dignitaries, diplomats, friends of India and Indian community. The Consul General spoke about the richness and diversity of India’s culture and art forms and its universal appeal.
The event was followed by dinner where sumptuous biriyani was served.
