Representation with MFD for formation of Madrasa Board

The officials of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan requested Minority Welfare Department for its cooperation in connection with formation of Madrasa board in Andhra Pradesh. The officials of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan on Saturday met secretary minority welfare Mr. Ahmed Nadeem and requested Minority Welfare Department’s cooperation in formation of Madrasa Board and implementation of the scheme in Deeni Madaris.

Mr. Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi sought complete details of the scheme from the officials. He sought clarification regarding opposition of Madrasa Board by the Deeni Madaris. It is said that the central government has directed Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan formation of madrasa board and told that if the proposal is not implemented immediately issue of budget will be stopped.

Central government has sanctioned Rs. 38 crore to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan towards this scheme. Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi has decided to convene a meeting of scholars and authorities of Deeni Madaris before final decision of the controversial issue.
