Representation to implement section 371(J) in Karnataka soon

Minister In charge of Gulbarga district, Mr. Qamarul Islam, Minister for Municipal Administration, Public Enterprises and Wakfs told that a delegation led by C.M. of Karnataka, Mr. Siddaramaiah will meet the Governor of Karnataka, Mr. Hans Raj Bhardawaj to impress upon him the need to implement section 371 (J) amendment so that the development of Hyderabad Karnataka region could be ensured. He told that the amendment made in the constitution is a historic event and a great deed for the Congress. He thanked Congress President, Ms. Sonia Gandhi and P.M. of India Dr. Manmohan Singh for getting section 371 (J) amendment passed in the Parliament. He also thanked Union Railway Minister, Mr. Mallikarjun Karghe and former C.M. of Karnataka, Mr. Dharam Singh for getting the bill approved by the president of India. He applauded the efforts made by the C.M. of Karnataka, Mr. Siddaramaiah for appointing a cabinet sub-committee to finalize the draft bill. He told that with the implementation of this law, unemployed youths will get jobs and greater opportunities in higher education.

Mr. Qamarul Islam was addressing a gathering of Rajya Utsav celebration on the occasion of 58th formation day of Karnataka State at Gulbarga on 1st November 2013.
