A review meeting of Telangana ministers was held at the residence Mr. K. Jana Reddy, Minister for Panchayathi Raj. In addition to writing a letter to Ms. Sonia Gandhi, a group of Telangana Ministers will meet Ms. Sonia Gandhi on her return from America.
BJP has intensified Telangana movement and Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao is going to New Delhi. In view of all these developments, Telangana ministers also decided to represent the matter to Central Govt. for the formation of Separate Telangana State.
The Ministers who attended the meeting include Dr. J. Geetha Reddy, Dr. Sreedhar Babu, Mr. P. Lakshmaiah & Mr. P. Sariah. The Latest situation in Telangana was reviewed. TDP has decided to write a letter to Central Govt. in favour of Telangana.
Mr. Jana Reddy told that political situation in Telangana Region is fast changing. Congress party has also campaigned for Telangana. Its ministers also tendered resignations in the past. Central Govt. is seriously considering to take a decision on Telangana. In such a situation, it is necessary that Telangana Ministers should also play an active role. It is also necessary that all the Telangana MLA’s should be brought to a common platform and also to work in coordination with Congress MP’s of Telangana Region so that a common strategy could be evolved to achieve Telangana State.
