Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar’s husband industrialist Feroz Gulzar has described as “rubbish” a Bangladeshi tabloid’s report that Hina was involved in a romantic relationship with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto. Feroz Gulzar, speaking to The News, a daily newspaper from Islamabad, said this appeared to be part of a campaign to malign his spouse and create disharmony in their matrimonial life.
Hina’s husband said, there was no premise for such a trash and for the reason, he could not offer any comment on the so-called social media gossip.
An industrialist by profession, Feroz Gulzar is fond of horses and riding.
He appeared to be comfortable in his assertions as saying that he was informed by his cousins regarding the baseless story and hence he asked them to transmit it to him but they declined to do so saying that it was not worth reading. The News reported that it appears Gulzar has not seen details of news reports that are floating on the internet.
When asked about the rumours of separation, Gulzar declined to comment by saying there was nothing on which they should ponder over.
He said, he had had no clue about the hotel in which Hina was residing in New York presently (she is at the UN to attend the annual conference) and said that she would return in three days.
Feroz Gulzar, who is father of two small daughters, Inaya and Deena, said it was tragic that the gossip writer had dragged the small angels in his fabrication. He said both the young girls were here with him. He regretted that there existed no system in Pakistan to get clue about such rumour-mongering as all this was very unfortunate.
Gulzar also brushed aside the suggestion for asking the US authorities to dig out the element responsible for cooking up the story.
“It wouldn’t be appropriate to ask them for a probe,” he remarked.
