Hyderabad 01 June (Siasat News): Mr Chiranjeevi after meeting with Congress High command initiating consultations with his associates of his party Political affairs committee. He briefed the committee members about the out comes of the meeting. He apprised the committee of the Comgress offer of 2 seats in the legislative council though PR intended to fight for one seat of the Rajyya Sabha on its own but the Congress needs its words on supporting its candidates in Rajya Sabha. The PR Leaders were of the views that their party should support congress candidates in the Rajya Sabha Election in return of more council seats. Some leader even suggested that the PR should cut out its slice in the State cabinet.
Mr Chirangeevi in favour of lengthy and comprehensive individual consultations in the Party. Meantime party spokesman J.Goutham told media persons here that his party would call its meeting very soon to take in a decision the request of the Congress for PR Co-operation in the Rajya Sabha election.
He refuted the reports of the PR merger with the congress. He said emphatically that the PR would remain a separate. He recalled how his party without any organization experience got 17 percent votes in 2009 election though this percentage was equal to 50 seats he elaborated.
