Hyderabad: TRS MLA representing Bodhan Assembly Constituency, Mr. Amer Shakeel rejected the rumours that he is joining BJP. He said that meeting the neighbor cannot be termed as crossing the floor of the party.
Mr. Shakeel was talking informally to newsmen in the lobby of TS Assembly yesterday. The MLA said that he is not afraid of anyone and he is not ‘a cat on the wall’. The TRS leader said that if he decides to quit the party, he would do it openly.
He also mentioned that earlier, he was District President of BJP at Nizamabad and BJP MP, Mr. Arvind is his neighbor in Hyderabad.
“Is there any fault in meeting the neighbor?”, he asked.

He told that Mr. Arvind’s father, Mr. D. Srinivas is his close friend and he visits his house quite often. He taunted that with the news of his joining BJP, some TRS members seem to be happy. The MLA also contradicted the fake news that he has many criminal cases against him. He challenged that if anyone proves that he was convicted in any case, he would quit politics.
