Replicate TN Model of nativity: Jana Reddy

Leader of Opposition in Telangana Assembly and former minister K Jana Reddy today opined that Tamil Nadu model is apt for resolving the nativity issue.
In an informal chat with mediapersons at Congress Legislature Party office here, Jana Reddy maintained that the Nativity model in Tamil Nadu State is appropriate and useful for confirming nativity. He made this remark when scribes asked him to respond on the contentious nativity issue among the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
Opposing the 1956 cut-off year set by the Telangana Government, Jana Reddy suggested the government to send a team to study Nativity policy in Tamil Nadu State. Then it can replicate here and find a solution, he said. It is pertinent to note that the TS Govt asked its students to stay away from the counseling as they will go with a separate one.
Reacting on this, the Congress leader said it is only adding to panic of the students and their parents. The issue can be settled through a dialogue, he averred. While Telangana State is awaiting Supreme Court verdict in August first week, the AP Government has issued a notification for counseling from August 7 to 18. (NSS)
