Meeting of Anjuman Taraqqi was conducted at Urdu Ghar Moghalpura under the chairmanship of Mohammad Ali Husaini president Anjuman.
Promotion of Urdu at the newly inhabited and old areas of the city and establishment of Urdu model school was mulled over.
Elections were held under the supervision of M A Raheem Khan. Mohammad Ali Husaini was selected as patron, Nusrath Mohiuddin as president , Dr. M Q Saleem as vice president , Dr. Rahi as secretary, Sahebzada Viqaruddin as joint secretary and Munawwar Ali Mukhtasar as joint secretary.
