Government has started consultation in connection with reorganisation of State Hajj Committee and it is likely that the State Hajj Committee will be setup within two days.
Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy discussed the matter with Minority Welfare Minister Ahmedullah and incharge officials of CMO who look after minority affairs, at camp office. It is likely that the committee comprising of 16 members will be formed which will later elect the chairman.
It must be recalled that the state Hajj Committee’s term ended on August 15, 2013 thereafter Special Officer has been looking after the Hajj Committee affairs.
