Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury today called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Secretariat here.
According to the sources, Renuka Chowdari congratulated KCR on TRS victory in municipal elections and coming to power in the State. They have reportedly discussed various issues pertaining to Telangana.
Though Renuka stated that it was just a courtesy call and nothing political, Polavaram Ordinance and PPAs issue came for discussion It is learnt that KCR has sought the Congress leader cooperation in fighting against the BJP Government at the Center on Polavaram Ordinance and PPAs issue. The TRS Government will fight it tooth and nail until Polavaram ordinance was withdrawn, KCR is learnt to have stated. Interestingly, Renuka belongs to Khammam district wherein the controversial turned Polavaram project locates. (NSS)
