Renowned architect Khairuddin Ahmed Siddique passes away

Hyderabad, October 1: Internationally renowned architect Mr. Mohammad Khairuddin Ahmed Siddique son of late Zaheeruddin Ahmed passed away on Friday. Mr. Khairuddin Ahmed was unwell for the past few days. Funeral prayer was performed at Shahi Masjid Public Garden. Burial took place at graveyard adjacent to Masjid Hazrat Abadullah Shah Dabeerpura.

Mr. Siddique had the privilege of taking part in the construction work of Harmain Sharifain. He was one among those selected architects who had chosen architectural profession at its beginning.

He had been the principle of Govt. College of Architecture. Apart from that he played a remarkable role in the establishment of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering the first minority engineering college.

During the 75 years of his life he performed honourary services in various institutions of the government.

Several dignitaries of the city were present at the occasion of his funeral prayers at Shahi Masjid public Garden including Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat.

Mr. Khairuddin Ahmed Siddique is survived by wife and a daughter.
