Removal of posters establishes certainty of NDA’s defeat: Congress

New Delhi, Oct. 17 : The Congress Party on Saturday said that the removal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s and BJP president Amit Shah’s posters in the Bihar establishes the certainty of the NDA’s defeat.

“This very rapid, calibrated and orchestrated removal of posters clearly establishes the certainty of defeat in the minds of the powers, who are pre preparing to give other justifications. Exactly the same thing had happened in Delhi. Till a few days before Delhi, you were the Hero, you were the winner, when defeat became certain, you vanished,” Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi told ANI.

Recently, posters of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah were reportedly replaced by posters of regional leaders of BJP in poll-bound Bihar. Even the latest billboard erected by the party displays faces of state BJP leaders like Sushil Modi, C.P. Thakur and Ashwani Choubey instead of Shah and Prime Minister Modi.

Even the slogans in the latest advertisement have changed. Initially, the main slogan used by the BJP in their campaign advertisements was “Abki Baar, Modi Sarkar”, then it changed to “Badaliye Sarkar, Badaliye Bihar” and now the latest billboard has “Vikas ki hogi tej rafter, Jab kendra-rajya mein ek sarkar” as the lead slogan.

According to reports, Prime Minister Modi also cancelled three rallies, which were scheduled to be held in Bihar yesterday. The JD (U) and RJD leaders reacted to this by saying that the BJP had conceded defeat.

Overall, the opposition parties are seeing all these developments as acceptance of defeat by the BJP. (ANI)
