Remote-controlled blast kills one, injures two in Pakistan’s Swat Valley

Islamabad [Pakistan]: A remote-controlled blast in Pakistan’s Swat Valley on Monday killed one person and injured two others.

The Dawn quoted the police as saying that the blast targeted a family member of a Village Defence Committee (VDC) member, Ahmed Zeb, in the Ghat area of Malam Jabba.

Police said Zeb’s father was killed and two others wounded in the blast.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

The police cordoned off the area began a search operation in the region.(ANI)
