State govt new industrial policy “Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System (TS-iPASS)”, raising the hopes of many aspiring entrepreneurs, showing a remarkable growth in the state and registered the highest number of units.
The number of new units is most likely to go high in the coming financial year as the ‘Single Window Clearances’ would permits much easier and quicker ways to progress. The guidelines of the Single Window policy, being formulated and would come into effect soon, said Vijayaratnam, deputy director of industries.
“We are expecting more applications for new industries this year,” he added.
However, it’s not only the small scale industries, which are booming; even the large-scale industries have shown a massive growth despite of some ups and downs in the beginning of 2014.
Apart from the new units, many large-scale industries are planning to expand their business and applied for necessary permissions. “When it comes to large-scale industries, a majority of them are those going in for expansion,” said an official.
