Remain ideal to society: Srihari tells Teachers

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today expressed serious anguish at school officials of a government school in Kusumanchi in Khammam district for the poor maintenance of toilets and amenities. He warned that the people may revolt if the teachers failed to mend their ways and give better education and standards with values.

Srihari sprang a surprise by visiting the school and pulled up the teachers concerned on the issue. Participating in an NRI program he distributed computers and other materials to the schools.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds Education portfolio smoothly chided that the teachers should remain an ideal person to be emulated and avoid being negligent on his responsibilities. He also said the teachers should be inspirational to the society and not get motivated by it instead. The teachers should continue to get respect from society and be a guide for future generations.

Stating that the efforts are being made to provide every facility in the schools across the state he said that the teachers should ensure that the students get better education with quality and standards to compete in future endeavours. The Teachers, he said, should mend their ways to ensure that the people change their reluctant attitude towards the government schools on poor standards. (NSS)
