New Delhi, October 13: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said she was “relieved” that the Commonwealth Games had gone off well after initial “tension”.
“I feel satisfied and relieved that this has gone off well, because we started off since the past two months on a rather cynical note,” Dikshit said.
“I think not only have the Games gone off well, more importantly, for all of us living in Delhi, we will get a great legacy,” she said.
Noting that there was a “bit of nervous tension” as witnessed before any great event, the chief minister said that she was yet to meet someone who did not think that it was an outstanding opening ceremony.
